Works required: Electrical rewire, new central heating system, re-plastering throughout, extension to front elevation, garage conversion to create utility area & downstairs WC.
Dated 1960, this semi detached house needed to reflect amore modern way of living, the garage was halved in size which enabled us to incorporate a downstairs WC, Utility and side access, whilst still leaving enough garage space for storage.
The front elevation had wasted space so we built a single story extension with roof lantern, which created additional living space for use as formal dining area or family snug.
By upgrading the insulation throughout using insulated plasterboard on outside walls and rigid insulation in the new extension &garage conversion and with the addition of a modern condensing gas boiler the thermal efficiency has been greatly improved.
A full electrical re-wire was done to include an upgraded consumer unit.
Having identified the need for well appointed rental property, we were an early entrant into the buy to let market with the launch of Stewardson Properties in 1995 after a period of growth we formed Stewardson Developments Ltd to focus on acquiring commercial property.
